Carl Douglas Crow Chief

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carl Douglas Crowchief at the age of 26 years old. Carl was well known to his family and friends as “Banks”. Carl was born on November 14, 1995, to the loving parents, Dorianne Whitford, and the late Francis (Spike) Crowchief. Carl had an enormous amount of love for his family and is survived by his children LaRose Crowchief and Kyrie Crowchief; siblings, Daryl (Renette), Tyler, Tamara, Delaney, Tara (Samson), Nicholas (Kobe), Joseph, Mariah (Ashton); His Uncles: Kelvin (Cheryl), Jason, Bob & Benny Crowchief, Aunties, Leanne (John) Sleigh, Louise (Jason) Doore, Debbie (Dwight) Smith, Michelle Crowchief, Geraldine & Lorna Whitford, Great Aunt Isabelle Olivier, and Great Uncle DR. Andrew Bear Robe. Pre-Deceased by his son Marcus Crowchief, and his wife Jasmine Lefthand, his father Spike Crowchief, Grandparents: Ralph and Bridgette Crowchief, Grandma Dora Vallee and Grandpa Douglas Whitford, Leo Pretty Young Man, Uncles: Thomas Jerry, Daryl Vallee and  Meryl Whitford. In his younger years, Carl loved the sport of rodeo, and would part take in sheep riding, wild pony racing, and steer riding. Carl attended the Siksika Nation High School where he then grew to love the sport of basketball and won a championship with the Siksika Suns. Carl has also made his Quest and Search of the Cursillo Movement. He was an avid gamer, and his favourite game was 2kNBA. His latest accomplishment was recently getting accepted into CDI College. Carl was a loving person and kind-hearted to whoever he met and was always helpful as well. He had many hardships in his life and has now gone home to the Happy hunting grounds to be with family. He will be missed by the family that he leaves here on Earth.
