Cameron “CJ” James Lonnie Bearhat

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, grandson,
father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend CJ Bearhat on Saturday March 30th 2024 at the age of
29.
CJ was born to his mom Liberty ”Missy” Bearhat and dad Cameron Shot Both Sides on May
18th 1994 in Calgary. He grew up and lived his life in Calgary. CJ was a happy, soft spoken,
comical and humble guy. CJ loved spending time with his son Tryson doing anything and
everything together. They were literally each other's best friend. CJ enjoyed playing video
games and was a huge fan of the Calgary Flames, he loved music and also spending time with
his friends and family. He loved everyone he encountered in life and everyone loved him right
back. He will be dearly missed and forever loved.
CJ is survived by his parents Liberty “Missy” Bearhat and Cameron Shot Both Sides. His one
and only son Tryson Bearhat. Grandma: Sandra Blackface. Grandpa: Hugh Healy. His Brothers:
Dreidon, Braidon, Jaydon and Dezmon Bearhat. His sister Sienna Shot Both Sides. Uncles:
Shawn Bearhat and Einar Bearhat Sr. Aunties: Vanessa Bearhat, Alanna Shot Both Sides.
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles of extended families from the
Littlelight, Royal, Low Horn, Healy, Chief Moon, Bare Shin Bone, Ironeagle, Strongeagle and
Yellowfly’s.
CJ is predeceased by his grandpas Lonnie Blackface and Patrick Bear Hat Sr. His grandma
Flora Shot Both Sides. Great grandparents James Ironeagle and Ida Dubois, Patrick and
Alfreda Bear Hat, Jim and Annie Shot Both Sides, Hugh and Frannie Healy. Cousins: Einar
Bearhat Jr, Shawna Twoyoungman, Kenny Shot Both Sides, Kelsey Shot Both Sides.

Wake service will be held in Siksika Nation at the Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbor on Friday
April 5th 2024 at 6:30pm
Funeral Service will be held in Siksika Nation at the Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbor on
Saturday April 6th 2024 at 11:00am. Graveside service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery
in Siksika Alberta. Feast to follow the services at the arbor.
