EARLY LIFE AND FAMILY BACKGROUND.
Brian Kimutai was born on 29th June 1997 in Matter Hospital, Nairobi. He was the second born child to CPA Elkana Kinyor and Mrs Milka Kinyor. He was a brother to Allan Kiplagat of Lethbridge, Canada and June Chebet of Kabarak University. He was a grandson to Late Senior Chief Melly (Kap Bureti), Constantine Melly and Mary Melly of Kaptumo farm/Sirwa, Uasin Gishu County, Late Paul Ng’etich and Late Irene Ng’etich of Kosirai, Nandi County.
Brian Kimutai was a nephew to Eunice Melly (kaboi), Edwin Kinyor (Kesses), Lilian Sirma (ministry of health)-Kesses, Nelly Tanui (Bomet), Eusilah Keino (Kapsabet), Late Naomi Melly, Judith Keter(Sirwa), Evangeline Biwott(Moi University), Edna Kablelach (Elgon View), Ezbon Kinyor, Susan Kimeli(USA), Eliud Kinyor, Dr Elias Kiptoo Melly (Iowa, USA), Carol Melly, Ezra Kolil (Katuiyo), Chesang’, Emmanuel Kimurgor( Australia), Elphaeus Kinyor(Kaptumo), Levin Chepkemei (USA), Enock Melly(Uganda) and Babyline Melly; Rose Karan(Kosirai), Sosten Magut (Kosirai), Phoebe Temoet (Moi Girls Eldoret), Pamela Keitany (Olare,Burnt Forest), Kenneth Ng’etich (Kosirai), Beatrice Ng’etich (Delaware,USA) and Peter Magut (Kosirai).

CHRISTIAN LIFE.
While Brian’s parents were in Nairobi, he attended Sunday school at All Saints Cathedral and African Gospel Church. He was dedicated in African Gospel Church, Pioneer, Eldoret. Later when his parents moved to their farm in Kapseret, Brian was an active youth member of ACK Saint Paul’s Leberio.
HEALTH.
Brian enjoyed Good health throughout his entire life. On 21st August, Brian together with his friends went to bed as usual after dinner. In the morning when one of his friends was going to work, he noticed unusual breathing and remarked to his friends about it. His friends replied that it was normal. However, later in the morning his other friend who arrived from work was surprised to find Brian still sleeping. He tapped him and found Brian stiff with foam in his mouth. It was then confirmed that Brian was no more. He was pronounced dead on 22nd August 2022. Preliminary test confirmed the cause of death as aspiration of gastric contents into the lungs larynx and lower respiratory track.
EDUCATION.
Brian started his nursery school in Tiny Tots, Pioneer, Eldoret (1999-2002). He joined class one at Lions Primary school and later moved to Testimony school and did his KCPE at Karo Academy in Nandi (2002-2011). Brian did his secondary education at St Patrick’s Iten (2012-2015) where he performed very well and was admitted to Kenyatta University where he pursued Bachelor of Commerce. In March 2022, Brian travelled to Canada for further studies where he was enrolled at Red Deer College.
