Mr. Bernhard Heinz Maurer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard Heinz Maurer on April 25, 2025 at his residence near Scandia. Bernie was born in portage La Prairie, Manitoba on October 9, 1963 and was a resident of Scandia since 1981, He was predeceased by his father Egbert on January 20, 2000 and uncle Otto Sonnenberg and he is survived by his loving mother, Marta of Brooks, three sisters, Marlene Stewart of Portage La Prairie, Birgit Maurer of Gladstone, Manitoba, and Marina Mauer of Choiceland, Saskatchewan, three nieces, one nephew, one aunt, 2 uncles and their spouses as well as numerous cousins and his best friend Barbara and Garth. Bernie enjoyed animals and restoring old cars; he was outgoing and enjoyed spending time with friends.
We will love and miss him forever.
