Letourneau Barry Allen 1948 – 2021

On Thursday, March 11, 2021, Barry Letourneau - Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, and Friend, passed away suddenly at the age of 72 years. Barry will be forever remembered by his children; Tracey, Brad (Twila) and Richard (Gina). Barrys very special buddies; Herbie, Conrad, Tony Rideout, Wayne Clark, and Lynnette White. Sisters; Denise, Cecile, Joy, Tanis, and Mary. Brothers; Kurt and Robert. Barry’s grandchildren; Jayde (Jen), Jaycie, Chloe (Chevy), Braidie, Parker, Danika, Carter, Chael, Paisley, and great-grandson who will be born in June. Barry will also be forever remembered by extended families in Siksika Nation - Wolf Legs, Bear Chiefs, Little Chiefs, Low Horns, Black Kettle, and the family of Elizabeth Spring Chief. Barry had many nieces and nephews, too many to mention at this time.
Barry is predeceased by his Mother; Annette Monroe. Grandparents who raised him; Mary and Felix Letourneau. Brothers; Art and Albert Letourneau. Sister; Terry. Daughter; Robyn Many Guns. His beloved feline friends - Frank, Gus, Victor, Otis, and Spike.
Barry went to school in Gleichen. His first job was in Calgary where he sold medical supplies. He also did farm work with his family, mostly bailing. He met the mother of his children (Rosalind Bull Bear) in 1969, he then worked in the town of Gleichen throughout the years doing various jobs, such as managing the Gleichen water plant, a security guard at the Gleichen Curling Rink and Fall Fair events, Gleichen Arcade Manager, and bartender at the local Gleichen pubs. He was the best bartender ever!!!! Barry enjoyed river trips and camping. He had the best barbeques and love get-togethers. Barry was quite the dancer back in his day and was known for singing a good tune. His obsessions - Calgary Stampeders in Coca-Cola.

Wake Services will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Funeral Services at 11 am on Friday, March 18, 2021,  at the residence of Brad Bull Bear.  Covid guidelines will be followed, please wear your mask.
