Barb slipped away peacefully at home with her partner JJ, her daughter Noelle, and her two cats Pekoe and Annabeth by her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Ruth Powers and Erik Peterson, her infant daughter Brandy Jean Peterson, her unborn baby, her brother Randy Peterson, and her nephew Cory Harasivich. She is survived by her loving partner of 28 years, Joseph (JJ) MacPhail, her son Robert (Bob) Wilson and his partner Ann Lavey, her daughter Abbie Worthman and husband Marc Worthman, and her daughter Noelle MacPhail. She is also survived by her sisters Kim Peterson, Pamela Stack, Tracey Peterson and her partner Dean, Trina Williams and her husband Mike, her uncle Gerry Powers and wife Shirley, her aunt Marg Lafferty, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her three surprise sisters Deanne, Debbie, and Lorraine, who she was overjoyed to find and looked forward to building a relationship with. Barb was a nurturing, down to earth soul with a quirky sense of humor and an endless passion for learning. She loved deeply and was a resolute protector of others. Her family was her world, and she will be missed beyond measure by those who were fortunate enough to have loved her in return.
