It is with Great Sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin & precious friend Allikay Black Kettle Backfat on May 11, 2022. Allikay fought a long hard battle with cancer. Allikay enjoyed playing his X-box & Nintendo Switch with his cousins, he also enjoyed spending time with his family & friends. He always had a cheerful attitude & made sure everyone laughed with him. He had an old gentle soul and was very humble & caring. Allikay included everyone & never made anyone feel left out or uncomfortable, he showed respect for others. His favourite sayings were “ Yeah” or “I don’t know”. Family gatherings were his favourite if the main course was Indian Tacos. Our dear Allikay had a special Bond with his Grandfather Mike BK, grandmother Martina Blackface & Dad Elliot Backfat. Allikay leaves to mourn his: Mother, Adriene Black kettle & Father, Ellie Backfat Jr. Grandfathers Michael Black Kettle & Elliott Backfat, and Grandmother Martina Blackface. Siblings: (Maternal side) Natalia, Lynnea, Isaiah, Phoenix & Wisdom. (Paternal side) Elias, Santana. Aunts: Amber Blackface, Jocelyn D.C (Garrett), Uncles Jason R.C (Anita) Kelso. Melissa (John) B.F, Ellina BF (Mataya), Tina B.C, Jeri B.C (Sage Delsilva); Numerous Great Aunts, Great Uncles & Cousins too many to mention. Allikay is predeceased by: Grandmother Marie cutter, Uncle Cody B.K, Aunt Vanessa R.C., Natasha Cutter nee Many shots, Great Grandparents Alexander & Annie B.K., Phillip & Jean Backfat & Raymond Blackface. Wake services will be held on Tuesday, May 17 from 2-5 for the family at Map 2, House 295, and the public are welcome at 5 pm. Funeral service to follow on Wednesday at 1 PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The family request that all in attendance wear Marvel Comic character colours in remembrance of Allikay.
