Allen Edward Brown

Allen (Cat) Edward Brown was born in Smeaton, SK on October 22, 1955. He was the fourth child of nine to Edward (Ted) and Mary Brown. He spent his first 21 years on or near the family farm before he moved to Air Ronge, SK in 1976. He later moved to Alberta after his grandchildren were born to be near them.

Allen has work in construction as a carpenter for his whole adult life and he truly loved what he did. He has travelled across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and even the territories for work. On his off days, you would find him over at someone’s house helping with repairs, or in his backyard building lawn chairs and tinkering with broken tools. When he wasn’t busy working, he was either camping, fishing, tending to his small garden, or sitting around the fire pit in the backyard. Allen loved life and lived it to the fullest. 

Allen is predeceased by his parents Edward (Ted) and Mary Brown and his nephew Donovan Brown.

Allen is survived by his daughter, Kristin (Scott), his two grandchildren Sven and Nathaniel and their father Don; his siblings (Henry, Doreen, Robert, Ken, Jean, Eileen, Darlene, Marlene), his 24 nieces and nephews, and his 26 great-nieces and nephews.
