It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Abiud Kimutai of Lethbridge, AB on November 5, 2021, near Nobleford, AB, at the age of 22 years. Abiud was born in Kosirai in Nandi County, Kenya. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Mr. Ng’etich Gideon and Mrs. Ng’etich Milka Jepkorir of Kenya, siblings Valentine Jerotich of Lethbridge, AB. And the late Faith Jepkirui and Mercy Jepchirchir. He will be dearly missed by his girlfriend Faith Maingi and baby Rayna Waeni Jepkemboi of Lethbridge. Abiud attended Kosirai Academy, Baringo and Kebulonik High School in Kenya and Lethbridge College where he studied Business Administration. Abiud was employed at PepsiCo in Lethbridge and Urgency Logistics. Abiud was residing in Calgary until his passing and will be remembered for his love of playing soccer, traveling, cooking, and hanging out with his family and friends. His live theme was “Furahia Maisha”. Funeral services will be held at Duchess Mennonite Church in Duchess, AB, on November 29 at 1:00 pm. Following the funeral services, Abiud will be laid to rest near his home in Kenya.
