Adrian Sitting Eagle

Sitting Eagle, Adrian "Sr"
October 27, 1966 – December 6, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin Adrian "Chameneeze" Sitting Eagle of Siksika Nation. Adrian was a firefighter for over 30 years and worked with Siksika Housing for 22 years. He enjoyed sports, horse riding and had a favorite horse named "Two Blue" and in his younger years was a fancy dancer.
Adrian is survived by his wife Ruby Sitting Eagle; sons Shane (Hope), Adrian "Stanley", Tristan, and Moses; step-children Eugene, Roman (Malayah), Dhillion, Sarceena (Talon), Jewel (Ethan), Malika, Shikila, Onesimus, and Pias; brothers John Anthony "Tony" (Audrey), Jim, Ricky (Wanda), and Curtis; sisters Sanda (Radford) and Vivian (Richard); numerous nieces and nephews; Uncles Gerald (Laura) Sitting Eagle, and Joe (Claudia) Patrick; Aunties Doreen (Oliver) Jerry, Roberta (Clarence) Pelletier, and Georgina Sitting Eagle; Adopted Brother Fred Chief; Brother-in-law Carter Starlight. Adrian was predeceased by his parents John (Pauline) Sitting Eagle and Priscella WeaselHead; Brothers Alton, Stewart, and Edwin Sitting Eagle. He will be lovingly remembered his relatives the Sitting Eagles, Weasel Heads, Drunken Chiefs, Spring Chiefs, Jerrys, Leathers, McMasters, CrowChiefs, Black Kettles, Calf Robes, Rabbit Carriers, and other extended families from Saskatchewan the family would like to apologize if we missed anyone.
Wake Services will be held at the Sister Celine Parish Hall on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11am. Graveside Service to follow at Little Washington Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
